Grant Used to Fix Founation

The Harriman-Nielsen Board received $10383 from the Iowa State Historical Society HRDP-REAP grant to restore the remaining stone foundation on the house.    Renaissance Restoration completed this work in July.    The grant includes completing the drainage tile around the house.   Petersen Backhoe is dong this work and will also be connecting the house to the cityContinue Reading

Windmill Goes Up

The Museum is open from January 15 through November 15: Monday - Friday, 1 to 4. 

From Memorial Day through Labor Day, the museum is also open Sunday 1 to 4.
